Dallin turned 4 this weekend. I've had him for 4 years??? Impossible! It feels like 40! Haha.
I had temporary insanity again, and decided to host a family AND friend birthday party on Saturday. It really was insanity! There were 14 kids there, including my own, and 14 adults! Dallin invited 3 friends, who were the best-behaved kids of the bunch! The adults had a blast watching 14 kids, ages 2-6 playing duck, duck, goose and musical chairs. Most of the kids had fun, but there were a few tears when someone didn't get their favorite chair back!
Abbie loved duck, duck, goose, and would get up and run every time, no matter whose turn it was!
Grammy made the cake. What would we do without her amazing talents!
Jake wrote the traditional silly poem/ treasure hunt leading to Dallin's present. 14 kids rushing up and down the stairs, then up then down again resulted in a few more tears! The hunt lead the kids to the car, where Dallin's present from mom and dad was hidden- an Imaginext Batcave, which he's been coveting from a neighbor since Christmas.Dallin may be very challenging, but he sure knows how to party! He was so excited for this party, and watching him interact with his cousins and friends was so cute!
And he's off - Ugh
