My baby turned one last week! Where has the time gone? I know everyone always says that, but seriously this year has flown by! Our sweet baby girl celebrated her birth in style, the same way she entered the world- in her birthday suit!
Here are some of the things she's doing at the ripe old age of one:
- Almost walks! She can stand in the middle of the room forEVER and can take about 7 steps between Jake and me (or Dallin and me), but won't just go for it yet.
- Crawls like lightening!
- Smiles all the time!
- Can say mama, dada, and hi. She jabbers a little, but is normally pretty quiet.
- Loves Dallin! Loves to play with him, follow him around, and even just see him!
- Loves, Loves, Loves Daddy! As soon as she sees him, she claps her hands and laughs.
- Ok, she loves me too, and follows me around the house all day.
- Dances! She head-bangs and claps to music.
- Laughs! She loves to be tickled, chased, thrown in the air, and laughs so hard!
- Feeds herself with a spoon. She's actually pretty good at it, as long as you don't mind a messy baby!
- Loves to eat, obviously! She hates pureed food now, except applesauce and peas. She LOVES mandarin oranges, and any finger-sized foods.
- Blows kisses. It's the sweetest thing- she actually kisses!
- She loves books. She loves to look at them by herself or have me read to her.
- Hate grass! She's hilarious outside because she won't walk yet, but she won't crawl because she hates her hands to touch the grass. She's just stuck!
- Loves to empty all the cards out of my wallet. Addicted to plastic already!
- Sleeps 12-13 hours at night and takes two naps every day! (my kinda girl)
We sure love our little girl!

Macy hated grass with a passion! That is too funny. We used to hold her over it and try to put her down. She would pull up her feet and legs like a turtle and literally crawl up our arms to get away from the dreaded grass. We thought it was hilarious, so we tortured her quite often. I haven't heard of another baby with the same aversion.
Happy Birthday Sweet Abbie! I can't believe it's been a year either (it goes so fast for other people). She is so adorable. You and Jake make the cutest, happiest little kids.
You have two beautiful little kids! My youngest (Malia) is 7! I can't believe how fast the time goes. I just enjoy every day with them and try to make the most of every little experience and stage of life...then I won't have any regrets!
